The first real watch in the collection, purchased in October 2024 after seeing an advertisement. Bought on impulse again, I had barely dipped my toes into the world of watches, but I already sensed there was real potential in this timepiece. It's only with time that I've truly realized this, as it accompanies me in every situation, from swimming to holidays on the beach, and I'm not afraid of damaging it, which is a weight off my shoulders compared to my other timepieces.

I'm extremely happy with it, and I also find its aesthetic appeal, with its sky-blue dial that glows in the sunlight, which I adore. Its diameter of approximately 44mm, if I'm not mistaken, doesn't bother me at all on my small wrist, something I didn't initially notice.

Charlie Paris GRX Kean #1

My first love in the world of watches, my first French brand, and finally, my first automatic watch added to my small collection, which I started about a year earlier with a little Casio Vintage Blue Tiffany that I've kept aside.
The round hands fascinated me, and its originality and attention to detail for its price range won me over.
Its white dial, along with the rose gold-tone steel case and bracelet, are a perfect match. For me, it's one of the most beautiful watches I've seen outside of the luxury category.

Beaubleu Behold the Lily

A truly unique watch due to its rarity, not sold in Europe but rather in Asia and the Middle East, and its distinctive dial with Arabic numerals, also known as Eastern Arabic numerals.
The date window is displayed in both English and Arabic, and is colored red for holy days. It features an open case back, an automatic 4R36 movement, a Hardlex crystal, and is water-resistant to 5 ATM.
The fir green dial is particularly striking in sunlight. A collector's item of which I am very proud.

Finally, a G-SHOCK in my collection and what a smashing entrance!! I never thought it would take me so long to welcome a G-SHOCK into my collection. And what an entrance! This GM-S5600YS-1 is not just a watch, it is a tribute to aesthetics and resistance. This black beauty, the fruit of the collaboration between G-SHOCK and Y's, Yohji Yamamoto's first brand, perfectly embodies my passion for Japanese watchmaking and fashion.

An Elegant and Rebellious Collaboration, launched on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Y's brand. This watch is a fusion of the DNA of the two worlds, the legendary robustness of G-SHOCK and the dark and thoughtful elegance of Yohji Yamamoto. Its all-black design is a masterpiece of sobriety, magnified by polished and brushed metal details. Let's start with the top of the bezel which is brushed, robust and discreet. Then these mirror buttons, which subtly capture the light, then the Y's logo engraved on the top of the dial and the case back, a discreet reminder of the brand's logo. Yohji Yamamoto has always explored the contrast between darkness and refinement, and this watch is a perfect embodiment of it.
A Double Personality, with two straps for two styles. The first strap in classic black resin, a

A First Smashing Step into the G-SHOCK World

Casio G-Shock 2100B...on vacation in Japan, I thought I would bring back, among other souvenirs, a watch. I wanted a Kuoe Kyoto. Not impressed. I had Casio in the back of my mind. And while wandering around, I came across the G-Shock store in Osaka. My blood boiled!!! Do they have the G2100 in red? Yessss! No hesitation, purchase made...with for me all that it represents. Should I write an article about it? This model is very well known...I would have preferred it in solar, but what a pleasure. And obviously, I will lack objectivity on the rating!

Another G-Shock...

I bought it to accompany me in my work which is manual work. What I like is that I don't need to worry about it. Its comfort with the rubber strap. In terms of look, the vertical brushed anthracite dial is very effective. The indexes are placed both on the dial and on the flange which gives a certain depth to the watch. The digital display, although tiny, remains readable in order to take advantage of the classic functions of a Casio.

La Casio GM-2100-1AER 

With my profession, I risk damaging my beautiful watches. So, for my daily professional life, I need a very, very robust, reliable watch with useful complications (alarm, timer, date, day, etc.). However, I want a watch that I find pretty and suitable for my wrist that gives me as much satisfaction as my beautiful automatics (but that I can drop, knock, etc.). The solution is the G shock GM-2100... my love for green timepieces is reflected in this beautiful futuristic metal dial. This watch with very reasonable dimensions for a G shock makes it seem like something else. And for this price, honestly, this timepiece is incredible!!! The only flaw may be in this rubber strap that is too rigid, which makes it less comfortable to wear. Finally, this addictive model really has a lot of charm, and manages to transform itself into an almost luxurious and chic watch despite all the features that make g shock objects Wow 🤯

Green Casio-Oak metal  waou !

The Casio GM-B2100D-1AER nicknamed CasiOak because of its octagonal bezel that looks like you know who is mostly from the DW-5000C. 
Is it really a G-shock? 
By that I mean, is it as resistant as the other Casios in the range? 

To tell the truth, I wouldn't throw it against a wall. 
Due to its full steel design, it is therefore very sensitive to scratches. 
Nevertheless, between the hands and the wrist, we have a real feeling of robustness and elegance. 
This comes from the work done on the steel which is mostly polished on the case and which perfectly reflects the light, as well as the brushed bezel which reflects this feeling of robustness. The eye is also well attracted by the polished brushed finish of the bracelet, with its small circles dug into the links with a polished surface. 

Although it does not have the qualities of its resin elders, it keeps all the G-shock DNA in terms of design and features. It will also have the Bluetooth function for settings and the solar charging system.

Small downside, I would have liked it to also be able to recharge in indoor light.

I have to regularly check the exposure of the watch, to be able to wear it when I want. If it is discharged, it will be necessary to wait a fairly long period proportional to its lack of exposure to light.

This chic sport CasiOak is truly very beautiful, fascinating and endearing.
