Mxnc's review on his echo/neutra Cortina 1956 Chronograph

I fell in love with it at first sight when I found it online! This chronograph has a sporty yet elegant look thanks to its white dial, reminiscent of a white Speedmaster with its two subdials. The round logo at 6 o'clock replaces the third subdial, and the touches of red on the dial and the tip of the seconds hand add a touch of class. The case, mostly brushed with polished twisted lugs, is beautifully crafted with lovely finishing touches, and the black bezel is finely engraved. The dial is pristine white, but not a cold, polar white; it's slightly warm without being creamy. It contrasts perfectly with the beautiful black hands enhanced with Luminova (a turquoise blue at night) and the painted hour markers, which have a good amount of depth. I particularly like the detail of the baton hour markers ending in dots, like an exclamation point in the minute track. The proportions are very pleasing, and the manual Sellita SW510 movement with its 62-hour power reserve makes the watch easily wearable every day. I'm lucky enough to have a store (PAUSE, to name names) in my town that carries the brand, which solidified my choice after talking to the salespeople and seeing the watch. I was also able to get all three straps offered by the brand: - the flat link metal strap, which looks fantastic, brushed and polished. I'm really not disappointed, especially since it comes with an extended link in case you're between sizes (which is my case). - the rally leather strap, nice if you like a very sporty look, accentuated by the red stitching. - the tropical rubber strap, very comfortable and flexible. It gives a black and white look that I really like. It also goes very well with other straps, for example, a khaki green fabric strap for a less discreet, more assertive, military-style look.
