The luggage is packed, the kids are in the car and my Charlie Concordia Tundra automatic is ready to accompany me on vacation. Sun, beach, sea and maybe a bit of snorkeling are on the agenda with my Charlie Paris! I fell in love with this model 2 years ago - before the prices increased - for a watch that was easy to wear and that does the same job as many other more famous and much more expensive divers. I chose to take this one for the holidays, because it's a no-brainer! Functional, present on the wrist but not very recognizable, it ticks all the boxes of a daily watch for walking around quietly in all circumstances. No worries to report since I bought it, precision at the rendezvous even I never checked things exactly. 

A rubber strap would be a great plus because the fabric one is not comfortable. Too bad Charlie doesn't offer one on their site. Maybe for next summer 😎

I received this watch in July 2023. I find it really very pleasant on the wrist. In the sun, the dial with its desert dune color becomes almost haunting; It is a watch that radiates when its indexes and hands perfectly restore the captured light thanks to a high-performance green luminova. Its 38 mm case is perfectly balanced on a small wrist. It is an all-terrain watch, it is robust and resistant to 300 m underwater despite its very contained thickness. This quartz watch features a Seiko system that perfectly imitates the scrolling of an automatic watch second hand. It is a beautiful, functional and pleasant watch to wear. I appreciate being able to easily change the strap thanks to the flash pump system. Bravo to Charlie PARIS who proves that there are other alternatives to buying watches that are much more expensive and much less satisfactory in terms of design quality. For me, it is the watch that joins the two worlds. The world of affordable automatic luxury watches and the world of more functional quartz watches.

A watch. Sober and classy.

Another gift with this Charlie Concordia Toundra very different from my other watch - see my review on the SYE silver chronograph. More robust in appearance as well as in terms of feel, heavier in particular which I appreciate. I had the opportunity to swim with it this summer and it is a strange sensation made of excitement at the idea of not leaving it underwater and worry of seeing it take on water and ruining it. No risk it is waterproof to 300 meters ;-) What I appreciate most in this watch is its strange dial - I understood by reading the brand's website - that it represented the text of the snow... Being a fan of snowboarding it speaks to me. Last but not least, mine has a very nice engraving on the back which no longer seems to be offered by the brand.

Superb watch, all terrain! Original and elegant but also very robust, I wear it for all my outdoor activities without fear. Despite a weight a little high at first glance, it is ultimately the reflection of an exceptional finish. Favorite for this watch with an unbeatable quality/price ratio.

Charlie Paris-Concordia South Pole expedition, 2nd edition numbered with STP 1-11 movement. The specifications and the history that gave birth to this great watch are enough to recall the greatest days of Rolex.
