As a lover of minimalist watches, this post-Soviet Chaika (with the inscription "Ёделано в России" in gold lettering at 6 o'clock) is obviously very appealing to me. It has only the essentials: a black dial with 12 gold hour markers, like stars in a deep sky. Like Europe, one might say, but only a dream, a dream repeated every twelve hours. This small watch (33mm in diameter) features one of the cutest characters in Soviet animation: the lion cub Rrr-Meow, who appears in the film "The Lion Cub and the Tortoise Sing a Song Together" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKEblbzoasI).
