A perfect everyday watch, and I think I'm well placed to attest to that, having owned this beauty for over 20 years.
And as incredible as it may seem, the battery has never been changed since I bought it in the early 2000s. So, when Casio tells you the battery will last 10 years, with any luck, it will last over 20. This watch can tell you the time in over 24 cities around the world, in addition to local time, of course. It also has a phone book and allows you to store up to 30 phone numbers. In addition to the three alarms, in case one isn't enough, it has a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and even a luminescent function.
So, I can assure you that this watch is perfect in every way.

The most perfect and complete of watches

This chronograph, which has all the attributes of a high-end chronograph, incredible finishes, a dial full of details and a genuine leather strap Made in France, not to mention its glassbox-style sapphire crystal. If someone told me that this watch cost 5 times more than its price, it wouldn't surprise me. The caliber, a Seagull ST1901, does the job well and makes the watch cost what it does. A watch that I love and that I would recommend.

It's beautiful and timeless, like a 60s Piaggio Vespa revisited for 2025.
Nothing is random, and everything is in its right place.

Simple and effective

Like a Leclerc tank, and not just in a figurative sense...
A big watch, wide, thick, and long, that gives an impression of indestructibility. A watch you wear when you go wild boar hunting, and when you have to knock down a load-bearing wall or an armored door with a sledgehammer. It's water-resistant to 180 meters, so even if you have to jump into the water, you can do it without a problem. It can even serve as a weight belt or knuckle duster depending on the situation... And yet, it's so endearing! Once you have it on your wrist, you never want to part with it. I was looking for a sturdy mechanical watch at a low price, and I wasn't disappointed by this Bradner.

A watch designed to invade countries

This reissue of a 1960s watch is, in my opinion, a great success. I find it very elegant, and all this for a small budget.
With a small 34 mm diameter and a very thin thickness, even with its domed acrylic crystal, it has all the hallmarks of a 1960s watch.
It is equipped with a Seagull ST6 mechanical movement, and the feel of the crown when wound is the same as on a watch from that era.
The champagne sunray dial changes with the light, and it's very beautiful.
Even the faux lizard strap is good quality for the price.
In conclusion, if you like vintage watches, this is a good compromise to be able to wear this watch without worrying about its proper functioning.
However, this is another watch my wife often steals!

A vintage inspiration that has stood the test of time

Just as some people would like to capture all the Pokémon, I would like to capture all these vintage-style Casios.
I see them as stylish treats with lots of different flavors, each one as delicious as the next.
The Casio A100WE looks like it came straight from the 80s with its design of a Renault 18 Turbo on-board computer or a BMW 528i E28 Check Control. It gives me the impression of being in the Mitterrand era and a lot of nostalgia for the R21 txi and R25 V6 turbo.

A gadget watch that has become an icon for 80s lovers with its retro-futuristic look and a keyboard that makes you feel like you can turn on the old VCR you've got stored in your basement in case video cassettes come back into fashion.
With this Casio calculator, my wrist is ready and no longer has to worry about any potential surprise exams.
Like all resin Casios, it feels indestructible, and in addition to having a calculator function, I can time or countdown, and if I need to wake up, it even has an alarm function. The smartwatch before the smartwatch.

A vintage Casio 593 W-79 that I have had for almost 30 years and that was given to me by my dad when I was a child.
My very first watch that I have always kept and that works like the first day.
I change the battery myself and the watch starts again for several years.

My first watch

Today, I'm going to tell you about a small Casio, certainly not the best known but which deserves your attention. It is the Casio AQ -S800WD-1EF
It is a watch with a resin case painted "steel" an acrylic glass, unfortunately, but with a steel bracelet. The dimensions 47.6 from lug to lug, 42 wide by 10.6 mm thick, with a weight of 89gr all included!
The characteristics now:

World time function
The world time function displays the time in 29 time zones and major cities around the world.

Stopwatch function - 1/100 sec - 1 h
The elapsed time, split times and total time are calculated with an accuracy of 1/100th of a second, over a maximum duration of one hour.

2 countdown timers - 5 sec - 100 minutes (with automatic repeat function)
This model has two independent countdown timers that emit a signal after the programmed time has elapsed before automatically resuming from the pre-programmed time. The watch's measuring capacity reaches up to 100 minutes and can be set in 5-second increments.

5 daily alarms
A daily alarm reminds you of your deadlines at the programmed time. This model has five independent alarms to flexibly remind you of your important appointments.

On/Off key beep
The key beep can be deactivated with the mode button. After deactivation, there is no longer a beep when switching from one function to another. However, programmed alarms or countdowns remain active after deactivating the key beep.
