A small Seiko 5 ref. SNKK11 that's quite nice to wear. Its small diameter case is easy to forget, and the sunburst finish of the navy blue dial darkens almost to black depending on the light. The gold-tone hour markers, hands, and date bezel enhance the watch beautifully.

It's very fun, vibrant, and pleasing to the eye.

A perfect everyday watch, and I think I'm well placed to attest to that, having owned this beauty for over 20 years.
And as incredible as it may seem, the battery has never been changed since I bought it in the early 2000s. So, when Casio tells you the battery will last 10 years, with any luck, it will last over 20. This watch can tell you the time in over 24 cities around the world, in addition to local time, of course. It also has a phone book and allows you to store up to 30 phone numbers. In addition to the three alarms, in case one isn't enough, it has a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and even a luminescent function.
So, I can assure you that this watch is perfect in every way.

The most perfect and complete of watches

This chronograph, which has all the attributes of a high-end chronograph, incredible finishes, a dial full of details and a genuine leather strap Made in France, not to mention its glassbox-style sapphire crystal. Like all resin Casios, it feels indestructible, and in addition to having a calculator function, I can time or countdown, and if I need to wake up, it even has an alarm function. The smartwatch before the smartwatch.

This is the W-59-1VQ model. This little watch goes everywhere and is very useful to me, in my precise timing during my daily work (simple, efficient, and reliable are its qualities). It is discreet, light and above all its price is very funky!!

A vintage Casio 593 W-79 that I have had for almost 30 years and that was given to me by my dad when I was a child.
My very first watch that I have always kept and that works like the first day.
I change the battery myself and the watch starts again for several years.
The little extra: the button at the top left to light up the screen!


My first watch

Today, I'm going to tell you about a small Casio, certainly not the best known but which deserves your attention. It is the Casio AQ -S800WD-1EF
It is a watch with a resin case painted "steel" an acrylic glass, unfortunately, but with a steel bracelet. The dimensions 47.6 from lug to lug, 42 wide by 10.6 mm thick, with a weight of 89gr all included!
The characteristics now:

World time function
The world time function displays the time in 29 time zones and major cities around the world.

Stopwatch function - 1/100 sec - 1 h
The elapsed time, split times and total time are calculated with an accuracy of 1/100th of a second, over a maximum duration of one hour.

2 countdown timers - 5 sec - 100 minutes (with automatic repeat function)
This model has two independent countdown timers that emit a signal after the programmed time has elapsed before automatically resuming from the pre-programmed time. The watch's measuring capacity reaches up to 100 minutes and can be set in 5-second increments.

5 daily alarms
A daily alarm reminds you of your deadlines at the programmed time. This model has five independent alarms to flexibly remind you of your important appointments.

On/Off key beep
The key beep can be deactivated with the mode button. After deactivation, there is no longer a beep when switching from one function to another. However, programmed alarms or countdowns remain active after deactivating the key beep.

Automatic calendar
Once programmed, the automatic calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24 Hour Time Format
You can display the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.

Domed Watch Glass

This is one of my favorite watches that I wear very often despite more expensive models.
Any flaws? Yes, there are definitely some... 
The acrylic glass is resistant to breakage but which quickly got scratched... admittedly during a DIY session...
