The Royal caliber, (almost) 100% designed and manufactured in France, is not only beautiful to behold, but offers an official 96-hour power reserve, though mine easily exceeds 100 hours.

Comfortable on the wrist, with an incredible dial boasting exquisite finishing, it's much more than just a timepiece: it's a watch that tells a story, and not just any story: the story of French passion and excellence.

Its dial amazes me every time I look at it; it exudes a natural elegance that doesn't try too hard. Just the right touch. Perfectly proportioned curves, neither too large nor too thick, everything is crafted with finesse, from the hands to the complications.

The moon phase adds a touch of poetry to this timepiece. Although its representation is based on realistic photographs from NASA, it doesn't prevent us from dreaming and proves that mechanics, too, can be poetry. It's a fragment of the universe captured on the wrist, a silent dialogue between man, the moon, and time.

Every detail exudes French craftsmanship and pride, from the dial design to the softness of the strap, to the precision of the movement.

Wearing it on your wrist is to feel an intimate connection with time. It's a watch I bought for myself for my 30th birthday, so it had to convey something special. It's an emotion, a presence, a daily companion that reminds us that beauty also lies in precision and patience. I'm intentionally not showing you photos of the movement because it has a specific serial number that I wish to keep private, but I encourage you to look at the photos from other members of the platform or on the Pequignet website because it's truly beautiful to behold.

The French watchmaking crush

Nothing to add to all that is already known.
The watch is very classy, reliable and the bracelets are easily interchangeable.
The steel bracelet is very comfortable and fits the wrist perfectly (adjustable with tools provided upon purchase, and very easily).
Note that the second bracelet offered by the house (leather) is of very good quality.
This Santos Grand Modèle with date window was one of my dreams, now come true.

Excellent watch

Micro-brands are sometimes gems and Baltic is an example!
I don't know if we can still say that it is a "micro-brand" but the whole experience from buying in their showroom to contemplating my wrist and this for several years, discovering the evolution of an exceptional patina, is perfect.
I did my first sea dive with it and everything went very well.
The watch is beautiful and reliable...and what's more it's French!
The tropical bracelet sold with the watch is very comfortable. Note that it is scented with monoi, which is rare enough to be highlighted.

Beautiful, functional and French for a small budget

First watch for me. The price-quality ratio was really great when I bought it (€470.00 in December 2019) whereas now it is not necessarily interesting anymore, the prices at Tissot having increased.
Otherwise, although slightly thick in my opinion, the watch is really superb. A beautiful guilloché (clou de Paris?), beautiful hands and then this ETA 2824-2 with the PowerMatic80 is really a comfort.

Excellent "first" watch

Magnificent timepiece with an interesting quality-price ratio.
Although it is fitted with an NH39A (Seiko), we are still on a classic -20/+40.
The readability of the regulators is not necessarily obvious but on this model, and thanks to the minute indicators on the dial, the time can be read quickly and very precisely.
The engraving of the Basilica of the Redeemer in Venice is superb.

The first men's wristwatch? Just that! 
Its originality, finesse and elegance make it the perfect watch to wear on special occasions. So it was without any hesitation that I chose it to accompany me to my wedding! 
Comfortable on a daily basis on its steel bracelet, you can however replace it with a leather strap in one click. 
The one provided by Cartier is also a little disappointing.

My timeless classic

This Santos de Cartier is the watch that gave me a taste for watchmaking. The ultimate sporty/chic watch. It’s the one that made me want to undertake and succeed, the one that convinced me that everything was possible. It was when I saw it when I was younger on the wrist of someone who taught me a lot that the magic happened. It’s chic, timeless, sporty and adapts to all situations and all outfits! It’s probably the one that has received the most compliments in my collection. For me, it’s an exciting watch for enthusiasts, which historically, as everyone knows, has nothing to envy the greatest.

THE real pilot's watch

My Santos 100, a piece of aviation history associated with the height of French chic, this Cartier is essential, and extreme in this XL version ref 2656.

Despite its bodybuilder case and bracelet, it sits wonderfully on my wrist, and imposes itself with finesse despite its almost 200 grams.

CARTIER SANTOS DUMONT  100 XL

A Cartier Santos, or how to marry elegance with sport-chic.
A priori, never a fan of gold watches, and even less of two-tone watches, this Cartier Santos from 1991, reference 2961, once put on the wrist was like an obvious choice for me.
Of contained size, it knows how to get noticed thanks to its bezel and the studs of its gold bracelet. It is truly magnificent. What's more, a watch that is not found on all wrists.
A piece from my collection that I particularly appreciate.

Cartier, or timeless elegance

This watch is simply stunning. Produced exclusively for the Gulf countries, it features Arabic/Hindi numeral hour markers, a highly sought-after detail in the region. Despite its considerable size, it's surprisingly comfortable to wear. Its green dial, which changes color depending on the light, is just as exceptional as its applied hour markers.
