Tissot PRX digital, 40 mm. I bought it about ten days ago and almost left a review immediately. That would have been a mistake, given the initial rush. The quartz movement/price ratio seemed unfair, especially since the functions are so basic! But then, as the days went by, the perceived quality, the comfort, and its certain elegance made me change my mind...or almost. Why PRX? Is the brand solid enough to create a different design and name? Given the success of the original model, I understand the continuation. This model is just as heavy as the automatic version. The readability is good. An important detail: the discount applied at the time of purchase. I wouldn't have bought it at full price. A good buy nonetheless.

What can I say...Given the "thickness" of the Citizen group, they can afford to release models like this.
Titanium case, solar quartz movement, calfskin strap for around 180 euros with the sales...The latter is heavier than the case!
Lightness, readability, reliability, water resistance...I got the all-blue model, which is as pretty as it is discreet.
In the morning, don't want to wind an automatic? It's always available; it's comfortable.
The only downside is the small size of the date/day window, which isn't very legible. No big deal.
Too perfect? No, just ideal for everyday reading.

Do as I do, wear a...

Codhor watch, from the 80s, bought less than 10 years ago in NOS condition on eBay...about 36 mm in diameter, hand-wound...never serviced, keeps time perfectly with a power reserve of about 40 hours!!!...You have to wonder if you should spend more?!...fortunately there is something else, than the utilitarian side, in the passion for watches...I rarely wear it but I am happy to own one in this condition, it reminds me of another era with this famous ad.

Very flat metal case, metal pin buckle, very supple silicone strap. Very comfortable and very readable. Its dial could be mesmerizing. No lume for nighttime use, which is a shame. No second hand, extremely silent. Impulse purchase at a price (€215) that I find excessive for such a watch.

A silent but expensive Swatch...

A pleasant watch for summer. As light as a plastic Swatch! Its gray color is unique due to the transparent case back, which reveals the mechanism. It's easy to read with its blue indexes and red hands. The strap is very flexible, which is pleasant. I own a few Swatch watches, and this is by far the loudest... a real 80s alarm clock!!! Irreplaceable for keeping accurate time every day.

Light, readable, precise...but noisy!

It reminds me of watches from the 80s, the Camel Trophy, especially the bezel. Personally, I wouldn't wear it for canyoning, hiking, or any other dynamic activity; G-Shock does better. But for everyday use or for a discovery trip, it will do the job perfectly. It exudes quality. From the moment you wind it manually, you can feel the solidity of the mechanism. Perfect readability, 3 hands... the basics. The strap is good, the stitching ensures good strength, even during a stay in humid areas, you won't risk losing the case (experience...). The motor is excellent, with an 80-hour power reserve, which is comfortable. The only downside is the design of the pin buckle, which is square and doesn't really match. I was just saying something! During this sales period, it remains very interesting as an impulse purchase!!!

She has everything going for her...

Bristol, clubmaster classic, 40 mm, blue dial, black nylon NATO... it originally had the brown leather NATO, but I preferred to equip it with the black nylon one... this is my second Bristol. The first was the chrono model, but it had lost a hand from a sub-dial! So I returned it, refunded it and bought the simplest one. I like it. Very readable. Always original. I think it mixes several styles.

Simple and readable

Passionate about beautiful mechanics and watchmaking, the Briston brand quickly caught my attention, and more precisely the Clubmaster Classic collection. 
One model among them particularly caught my eye: the "color". This version discovered on the Internet (rare photos and articles about it) is, to my great regret, almost impossible to find until the day I decided to go to the official store in the Marais in Paris and, miracle of miracles, they are all there (or bad luck for my credit card). 
It is available in several colors (red, yellow, blue, white, black, burgundy, pink). You will also find it in a chronograph version. 
This model, available in an infinite number (or almost), is suitable for both men and women. The Clubmaster Classic and other models of the brand such as the Vintage appeal to both men and women with their finesse and elegance. 
My partner and I fell for the very colorful "Classic" collection, which allows you to swap bracelets or even exchange watches. However, it must be recognized that the 40 mm case can be quite imposing on a very thin wrist. However, it seems to me that the design, both elegant and casual, attenuates (unlike other models of the same size), The cellulose acetate case is 40 mm. 
Well proportioned, its square shape with rounded corners, or more precisely a cambered square, is quite original. 
The case is available in different colors as mentioned above. The colors are bright and well stretched, which guarantees a very nice and flashy effect in its brightest colors. 
The perceived quality is good, both solid and refined. The crown where the brand emblem appears is finely made. However, it seems a little fragile to me, especially when setting the time and date. 
The chrome effect on the edge of the dial unfortunately tends to "pit" very slightly. However, I have the feeling that this problem - which was present on the first series produced - has been resolved. The back of the steel case is engraved with the logo and name of the watch, as well as all the information concerning it, sober and chic once again.
