Bianchet is a Swiss watchmaker founded in 2017 by Rodolfo and Emmanuelle Festa Bianchet. It is known for its tonneau tourbillon watches whose aesthetics and architecture follow the golden ratio (1.618) and the Fibonacci sequence. The first piece, the Tourbillon B1.618 Openwork, appeared in 2021 at the Geneva Watch Days and was featured at the GPHG the same year.

Identity: The Grammar of the Golden Ratio

At Bianchet, the golden ratio "1.618" is not just a motif: it guides the shape of the case, the design of the bridges, the opening of the dial and even the geometry of the rotors. This language results in sculpted, airy and legible watches, where visual order serves ergonomics and resistance.

Materials and performance

The brand's technical signature is an exclusive composite, Titanium-Dust-High-Density-Carbon: approximately 500 layers of 0.03 mm carbon fibers, infused with titanium powder every other layer. This construction aims for lightness and rigidity, and is accompanied in recent collections by a water resistance increased to 10 ATM and a shock resistance announced at 5,000 G.

Range and movements

Bianchet Tourbillon B1.618 Openwork (2021): 43×49/50 mm barrel, skeletonized manual caliber (105 hours), limited series (e.g. 21 pieces) in titanium or carbon/titanium; public price communicated at 50,000 CHF including tax at GPHG.

Bianchet Flying Tourbillon Grande Date B1.618 (2023): proprietary skeletonized manual movement with large date (21,600 A/h, ~90 h), available in TDHDC carbon, in “Hybrid Gold” versions (carbon + 18 K gold) or in sapphire case. Water resistance 10 ATM and shock resistance 5,000 G depending on recent versions.

Bianchet Flying Tourbillon Sport GMT (2024): 90-hour manual tourbillon with dual time zone display (24-hour globe), 43 mm case, 10 ATM and 5,000 G, available in TDHDC carbon, titanium or Hybrid Gold.

Bianchet B1.618 UltraFino (2025): new generation extra-thin “sport-tonneau” (approx. 40×47.4×8.9 mm) powered by the automatic caliber UT01 (flying tourbillon, titanium, 3.85 mm thick, 8 g, > 60 hours), tested to 5,000 G and 5 ATM. Available in titanium with integrated bracelet then in “UltraFino Carbon” — first integration of a carbon bracelet in a monobloc tonneau case.

Price benchmarks and positioning

Bianchet is positioned in a high-end segment: the Tourbillon B1.618 Openwork was around CHF 44,500–46,500 excluding VAT at its launch (depending on the material) and CHF 50,000 including VAT at the GPHG. The 2024 Hybrid Gold models had indicative prices of around CHF 85,500–105,000 depending on the model (Grande Date / Sport GMT). The UltraFino, with UT01, offers a thinner and lighter offering while retaining the performance DNA.

Conclusion

Bianchet offers a very contemporary interpretation of the tourbillon sports watch: design by the golden ratio, exclusive carbon/titanium composites, high resistance announced (water / shocks) and a transition to the ultra-thin automatic with the UT01 without denying daily use. If you hesitate between an Openwork, a Grande Date, a Sport GMT or the new UltraFino, rely on real feedback: prioritize the authenticity of Dialicious customer reviews to choose the Bianchet model that suits you.
