Bangalore Watch Company Apogee Owner Review : Original, impressive and atypical

The Earthshine from Bangalore Watch Company is a refreshing surprise from India’s growing independent watchmaking scene. At 40mm with dual crowns, one to set the time and the other for an internal bezel to track a second timezone, it strikes a great balance between functionality and design. The Swiss Sellita movement inside is reliable and keeps the watch on par with global microbrands, while the Cerasteel case with sapphire crystal and 100m water resistance gives it solid everyday durability. The stock strap is decent, but I swapped mine out for a Vercors CTS rubber strap, which not only improves comfort in hot weather but also gives the watch a sportier character. What stands out most is that the overall quality genuinely matches global standards, making it an exciting piece to own, especially knowing it comes from an Indian brand that’s pushing boundaries. In short: the Earthshine feels robust, looks distinctive, and offers practical features without compromising on style, a watch that deserves recognition on the international stage.
