My model has a rather rare dial because the 4 indexes are represented by a lightning bolt. The quality of Lip proves that after more than 60 years this watch still works very well.

This is a purchase that responds to an era that I knew and to the cinema of one of my favorite directors. This elegant, ultra-thin watch is a dress watch with a touch of originality. It allows me to engage in discussion with those who notice it, on its atypical side and on its cinematographic reference. I rather like the classic but sometimes fun offers me an eccentricity that I appreciate. This watch is also very pleasant on the wrist.

I had wanted a Tudor for a few years and Monfils fils went to the antipodes on the day of the presentation of the BB58 GMT…for an enthusiast like me the excuse was too good 😂. Everything works with this watch, thinner than the old one, a perfect diameter for me and a recognized quality.

The world is vast

This watch represents the alpha and the omega, when I wear it it represents my first mechanical watch in 1973 a Longines, its color the first car of my father that he had in 1964 a Triumph Herald, the wooden dragon of the back of the case represents my Chinese sign….60 years ago and the 888 copies remind me that my son was born on December 8….what watch could compete with so many symbols that touch me….

60 years of waiting

The feeling of a sunset on your wrist, a price that allows you not to think too much, a very useful complication and a robustness that relaxes you... I like it when my life is simplified!!! The diameter of 42 is not felt at all and the jubilee bracelet is really very comfortable and of good quality considering the price (389€)

The first time I discovered this watch was in 1971, my uncle, a watchmaker at Patek, wore it when he wasn't at work and it was his morning alarm clock. For me, Vulcan was Star Trek and space, what could be more normal for a child who saw the first step on the moon live………..

Geneva-based brand ZRC has launched a limited edition of 170 pieces of its new Grands Fonds Vintage 1964 Spirit Bronze watch. This watch is fitted with a bronze case, a material appreciated for its resistance and the patina it adopts. It is inspired by its previous watch, the Grands Fonds 300, developed in 1960 by ZRC and adopted by the French Navy in 1964.
