I bought this watch a month ago for my 50th birthday. I find it has a seventies vibe, so it made sense to me. It's my first automatic watch, so please forgive my novice opinion. The case, with its asymmetrical design, is very original. The alternation of polished and brushed finishes is perfectly balanced; the two chamfers on the bezel and case middle are particularly striking. The brushed finish still allows the watch to catch the light beautifully. I find myself turning my wrist to play with the light and make the reflection travel from bottom to top across the flat surface of the case middle and bezel. The dial is equally impressive. The hour markers also reflect light very well. This beveled shape of the markers enhances the watch's chic look. The dial also holds a few surprises. The details of the striations aren't fully visible to the naked eye. I like this idea. It's with a loupe that the design can be truly appreciated. Under certain lighting, you can still make out a deliberately more "rough and tumbled" pattern on some parts of the dial. I love this dial because I think its design is actually very well thought out. The large white seconds hand balances the hour markers. I think it gives the watch its sporty look. Perhaps one small drawback: I find the lume not very effective, but I wasn't expecting much from it; otherwise, I would have bought a dive watch. In fact, I hesitated between this one and the Navygraph Pearl. Well, I still have a lot to say about this watch, but I'll keep it short and save one detail for last, which deserves special attention for those who, like me, are buying their first watch. On the back, the Yema micro-rotor is superb. It's very beautiful, and I'm happy to know that some of the movement parts are machined in France. I've had the watch for a month, and the accuracy is incredible! I know I won't be demanding in this area, but I appreciate it. I was particularly impressed by the generous 70-hour power reserve, especially considering the 4Hz movement on my wrist. Since the winding efficiency of a micro-rotor is lower, I imagine the 70-hour reserve is significant. I forgot to mention the watch's 9mm thickness, achieved thanks to the micro-rotor. This makes it a very well-balanced watch on the wrist. It's chic and classy without being ostentatious. Regarding how the watch sits on the wrist, you have to consider the shape of the two links extending from the case. Even though the lug-to-lug measurement is given as 43.5mm, I would estimate it to be 2 or 3mm wider on either side. I imagine this is common on watches with integrated bracelets. Finally, regarding the bracelet itself, I'm not convinced by the adjustment system. This didn't stop me from buying the watch, but I know I'll avoid using it. Aside from that detail, the strap is also superb, polished on the edges and brushed on top. It's very comfortable and matches the watch perfectly. In conclusion, this is my first watch, I wanted to support a French company, and I chose this Yema Wristmaster Slim. I'm not disappointed, and even now I struggle to find a serious competitor. Well done, Yema!!! :-)
