I'm bending the Dialicious concept a bit by posting one review on several watches ;) I love Swatch and I love hunting for them, and especially resisting the urge to buy them! As soon as I walk past a Swatch store, I go in; as soon as I see a stall at a flea market with colorful watches, I stop... I can't help myself. Here are a few models that have won me over.
The black "Classic Gentle" one, bought because I have several photos of myself as a baby, in my great-grandfather's arms, wearing the exact same watch.
The transparent one, cool, simply cool. It does tend to yellow...
The Yue Min Jun, found new at a flea market, gorgeous! I love this artist, a very beautiful find.
The "What If" one, an impulsive purchase; I wanted a white watch, very summery and cool, and I don't regret it ;)

My little heart swatches

As the title of my review states, I love Omega; it's undoubtedly my favorite watch brand. I also love Swatch, and more generally, I really like all the brands in the Swatch Group.

When the Moonswatch collection came out, I was immediately thrilled, to the point that I queued outside the Louvre for two hours. As a result, some idiots started fighting before it even opened, and nobody got a watch.
Disappointed, I waited a year before my sweetheart gave me this one, and I love it! I switched to the new straps, which are much more comfortable and stylish. A great summer watch!

Fan d’Oméga, fan de swatch = cooooool

A small Omega Genève from 1960, a gift from my parents for my 20th birthday.

I absolutely adore this one!

I love its small size (34mm), the blue of its dial, its simplicity, its delicate design!

I'm very attached to this watch, which doesn't stop me from noticing its few flaws: the crystal scratches easily… its power reserve is dwindling (it's due for a service…), and it's difficult to find a strap that suits it.

Apart from that, I think it's very attractive, elegant, discreet, and has a touch of history!

66 years old and still got all his teeth

At 19, with my summer job paycheck in hand, I slipped it onto my wrist in the airport shop and didn't hesitate to buy it.

I'd bought it with the leather strap, which turned out to be poor quality. When it came time to change it, I hesitated between metal, which I'd seen a million times before, and rubber, which seemed like the obvious choice. The strap is sturdy, comfortable, and gives it a great look.

However, I don't wear this watch as much anymore; I find it a bit too big now. The 35mm and 38mm versions have been released since then… perhaps they're a better fit. But I'm keeping it! It's a very well-designed model.

Trying it was like buying it!

A gift from my parents for my 18th birthday, this lovely Tag Heuer Aquaracer quartz was my first foray into watchmaking.

It's a seasonal, adventurous, and robust watch: a true diver's watch that never leaves my wrist in the summer. Ready for water sports.
Since 2018 (my 18th birthday), I've only had to change the battery and have the water resistance checked once at a Tag Heuer dealership.
I only wear it with a NATO strap now; I love changing my style.

The hit of the summer

A gift I chose for my 25th birthday. This Hamilton, steeped in history, simple, unpretentious, yet unique in its own right.
White dial, cream-colored patinated hour markers.
At 38mm, it sits perfectly on the wrist despite its long lugs, which are its defining characteristic.
I love its slim profile but regret its lack of water resistance…

A (nearly) perfect first field

The Tissot brand was created in 1853 by Charles-F&eacute;licien Tissot and his son Charles-Emile in Le Locle in Switzerland. I'm not going to go back over this watch because almost everyone knows it. I tried it, loved it, and completely embraced this beauty. And quartz seems much more legitimate to me because of its history. It has become a real toolwatch. It does everything, from skiing to commuting. The steel bracelet is very comfortable. I also have the leather one, which is more for winter and between us it changes look. That is to say that I have almost 2 watches. It took me a while to buy it because I was really hesitant, and I don't regret it at all. Top finish, comfortable for my big wrist.

TISSOT PRX Quartz 

The typical example of a watch that shatters prejudices about watchmaking! A legendary manufacturer, a terrible 70s look, a blue sunray dial with the most beautiful effect and a very pretty brushed finish all that for “only” 300€, less expensive than a watch made in China bearing the logo of a major ready-to-wear brand. This PRX is a great option for anyone who wants to take their first steps in watchmaking or who, like me, simply wants to add a pretty little piece to an already well-stocked collection. I chose quartz on this watch to stick as closely as possible to the original version (seastar quartz). Watchmaking is not just a question of money and this PRX is the perfect example :)

Tissot - PRX

I received this watch as a gift, which I wear almost every day and I never get tired of it. Its strap is very pretty, and above all the color of this sunburst green dial is simply magical. The only small downside could be the comfort of this watch due to its strap and the shape of its case.

Tissot prx quartz 40mm

As soon as I saw them in photos I knew I was going to fall for them. During a weekend in Amiens I tried the 2 models: quartz and powermatic 80. The sunray blue dial excited me more than that of the automatic and although I prefer mechanical watches I found it more in keeping with the spirit of the 80s Seastar to take it in an electric version. No regrets, this watch has become one of the ones I wear the most. Sporty chic, waterproof to 10 atm, comfortable; the dial is really superb and playing with the light is a real pleasure. Very good value for money (at the time €350). I love it so much that I bought its 35 mm twin for my wife...but that's another story
