TIMEX being one of my favorite brands, I am not necessarily the most objective to talk about it. 
Here is one that I find particularly successful. 
The shape of its case is original, the circular brushing gives a superb effect, and the slightly smoked burgundy dial brings a lot of depth. 
In addition, it is in near new condition, and after an adjustment at the watchmaker, the movement, although basic, is very precise. 
A pretty Timex that I have rarely seen elsewhere, but which deserves all my attention.

A top quality Timex

I have a great fondness for the TIMEX brand, because my first watch was a Timex.
The one I am presenting here has a nice story. I bought it from a retired watchmaker who did not want to sell it. It is a Timex "Service Après Vente" with an electromechanical movement. "SAV" watches were loan watches that allowed customers having their watches repaired to be helped out while waiting. This principle developed in the 60s/70s, but it was LIP who was the pioneer.
The watchmaker who sold it to me told me that this watch, thanks to its very precise movement and its great autonomy without winding, bluffed all his customers and allowed him to sell a lot of them. And he did the servicing every 3 months to be sure that the watch was always in top condition. He made a lot of money with it, and when he retired, he continued to maintain it, hence its superb condition today.
He gave it to me only because his children did not want it, and that his watch would be in good hands with me.
I have had this watch for 11 years now, and even if it is very simple, it symbolizes this beautiful encounter and this beautiful story.
