A JLC reverso from the end of the 90s, bought in a small vintage dealer in Zürich. I was looking for a reverso for quite some time but was not comfortable with the modern version because of the size as I have a small wrist. This version is called the "shadow" because of its dark grey dial. The steel case is quite small at 23x38mm which makes it easy to wear, it is also slim. it is an elegant piece with a vintage look but also fit a more sporty attire in my opinion. I changed the original strap which was a black alligator for a dark grey calf that matches the dial. Impossible to be out of mode with that model anyway.

Vintage classic Reverso

Bought the watch in Geneva during the Geneva Watch Days. I was looking for a new dive watch to wear on the beach during summer. I saw the Squale and loved the design, and also the fact they had a not so big option since i have a small wrist. The watch is 40mm but feels smaller because of the non existent lugs so the strap falls directly on the wrist which is quite comfortable. 
The luminous elements on the watch are insane, it shines super brightly compared to my other watch with Luminova. The shape of the case with the crown at 5 is also a nice touch of difference. The bezel is graduated to be used for diving (even though I do not dive) and can be set by pushing down the bezel and sliding it, an interesting solution. So far the watch has been running really smoothly, and fits perfectly its summer watch function with either a steel bracelet, with a vintage vibe, or an additionnal rubber strap.

Summer dive watch

I bought this watch at auction with the goal to wear it at my wedding that took place in September 2025. I had the luck to get the watch in May 2025, and I have been wearing it a lot since then.
The movement is a well known Jaeger Lecoultre 1120 QP from the 80s that was also found in brands like AP and Patek. Love the shape of the bridge (bonus point for the Poinçon de Genève) and the slim profile of the case with a diameter of just 36mm. An 18k gold case with subtle roud-ish edges and straight lugs that makes it comfortable to wear with my wrist of 16.5cm. The dial is a bit special, not flat but with a delicate guilloché corbeille, the moon is a gold piece inside a lapis lazuli disc. 
The perpetual calendar is set via 4 pushers on the side of the case, easy to understand.

Slim and complicated dress watch

The Sirna from STREHLER, first model of the small brand of the independent Andreas Strehler. 40mm in diameter for 8.5mm thick with a 22mm between lugs. The watch is designed to be a discreet daily watch that goes with just about everything, from jeans and a t-shirt to a 3-piece suit.

A 3-hand watch that is quite classic in its operation, but with a design and production entirely made within the factory in German-speaking Switzerland. The movement, SA-30, has finishes that I personally love, in particular the hand-beveled gold rotor.

The dial is the star here, machined grade 5 titanium, laser engraved, hand-polished and finally anodized in blue. A fairly vibrant color, the dial pattern is very changeable depending on the light, going from shiny to matte.

The case is thin and well finished, with concave sides and a bevel in the between lugs. It is a basic case construction with case middle, case back and bezel, all in 316L for 3 ATM.

The watch comes with a grained calfskin strap between taupe and light brown which is very comfortable. Equipped with quick-change bars, it is very easy to change the strap with another color if necessary, I opted for gray and blue suede.

I can only recommend this piece which combines a lot of know-how with small quantity production (about 50 pieces per year) and top quality. My first jump into the world of independents! And the advantage with these small independents is that you can visit the factory directly, I was able to pick up the watch on site which adds to the emotional connection with this piece.

Daily watch between balance and beauty

A watch spotted in a shop window while walking around town. Instant love at first sight. I immediately fell in love with the dial, case, complication... everything in fact!
The watch is an AP from the 80s with an 18K yellow gold case in very good condition. The white enamel dial is quite soft and fine. The day and date functions are a little extra that I really like, especially since it's a piece that you rarely see.
The 33.5mm diameter fits perfectly on my small wrist, and the thickness of the watch of less than a centimeter makes it a very good daily watch.
The only problem, being a vintage, the rapid correction of the day and date was not yet commonplace, so the adjustment is quite particular, but that's what makes vintage so charming.

33.5mm Vintage AP with Enamel Dial

The Time Shadow is a watch created by Andreas Strehler, a renowned independent watchmaker. This model is limited to 8 pieces. It is also the only model in the collection that is offered with a steel case and not in precious metals. The so-called "cocoon" shape (a sort of barrel shape) is surprisingly pleasant to wear despite my rat wrists. The time display is quite special, with a disk that displays the hours, and the hand that displays the minutes. The dial is made of titanium, with an orange Lumicast pellet under the hour disk. The finishes are obviously exemplary, an alternation of hand chamfering and satin microblasting offers a beautiful depth and a beautiful contrast to the movement. This model serves as an entry-level for an Andreas Strehler watch, even with its 56,000 CHF which remains a substantial budget, we are still far from the other creations of the watchmaker.

A limited series from a renowned independent

The&nbsp;Squale brand was created in 1959 by the couple Charles and H&eacute;l&egrave;ne Von B&uuml;ren in Neuch&acirc;tel in Switzerland. Passionate about diving and water sports, the founders launched into the field of underwater watchmaking, a sector still unexplored at the time. The name Squale comes from the word "shark" in Italian.
