I present to you my Seiko Kinetic beige the reference is SKA787P1, I really like this Japanese watch that I find pretty and with a system even if it is not mechanical it is equipped with the Kinetic system a label of the Seiko manufacture or the bottom of the watch which is transparent lets glimpse two small copper coils which are used to power the watch ... simply by shaking it or walking the Kinetic system of the watch recharges it with energy. the glass is in Hardlex the diameter is 42mm and the water resistance is 100m its price at the time 3 years ago was 250 euros.

Here is my opinion on Seiko Sportura Kinetic Chronograph, reference 7L22-0AE0. I wanted to buy this model because I loved this design that I find atypical, especially the ovoid-shaped glass, we could call it cyclops. The dial has several variations, including the hour sub-dial, which exists with Roman numerals, stick indexes or even numbers. I preferred the Roman numerals, because this version was in my opinion more harmonious and balanced. In addition to the design of the sub-dials, the movement is a real plus, it uses kinetic technology, that is to say a hybrid quartz movement powered by the movement of the wrist thanks to an oscillating weight. The case back is open, so as to leave the movement visible. This will please or not, but undeniably it adds to its futuristic side. It should be noted that the oscillating weight is quite noisy (which does not bother me, we at least know that it acts). I am rather vintage in the contained format, it must be said that this watch of 42 mm wide, 14.5 mm wide and 47 mm between the lugs is contained on my 16 cm wrist, it is not so huge. It nevertheless weighs its weight. As for the chronograph, it is limited to 45 min. My big negative point remains the bracelet which can be changed but with a specific Seiko bracelet, leather (findable) or metal difficult to find.

A chronograph with an atypical design

I am delighted with my SEIKO watch ref.5M82-0BE0. It is beautiful and precise, in fact, it has a quartz system recharged by a battery, itself powered by an oscillating weight. It is the KINETIC system from Seiko. I find it very readable with its cream-colored dial and its sword-shaped hands. It is not very expensive, expect around €200, but I am not sure that we can still find some??? Victim of its success.

Sporty and classic at the same time

My first beautiful watch. Given to me by my wife, it was the centerpiece of my collection for a very long time. It was also the one that sparked my passion and it was followed by many others. It has a kinetic movement that combines the best of quartz and automatic. I also really like its chronograph function which, even if it is not really useful, gives a little life to the dial. Despite its years, it is still very precise but the time indication is shown on a sub-dial, with age, I have more and more difficulty seeing the time passing. It has taken a few wrinkles and is no longer really in fashion but I continue to wear it very often. No more news from the Seiko Premier. I would like to know more about this name which seems to have disappeared from the Japanese firm's catalog.

Seiko Premier Kinetic Chronograph

I chose this watch for its Kinetic movement which I think is only used by Seiko. The combination of green and gold always works and I find the sunray of the dial very pleasant. The fixed black bezel brings a touch of sportiness and the small date at three o'clock is discreet and well integrated. The push button at two o'clock acts as a power reserve since by pressing it, the second hand advances more or less depending on the remaining charge. It then returns to its starting position. Good idea! Precise, pretty and not very expensive, it has its place in my collection.
