This 39mm x 13mm tribute chronograph is made of high-quality stainless steel and features a quartz movement with a smooth second hand. The finishing is very decent. The dial has a lovely finish, with a pink that's neither too pale nor too pronounced.
A bit of pink hype for less than €90.

Why a real GADA? Because with a price of 55 euros and solid stainless steel, you're truly free to do what you want with your watch.
36mm by 11mm, VH31 quartz with a smooth second hand, quality bracelet and applied indexes.
It's comfortable to wear.
As for the flaws: it lacks some chamfering and a better consistency between the steels of the case and bracelet. But 55 euros!


A real GADA with a delicate dial.

The automatic mechanical version of this watch is just over 10 mm thick, which is why I chose the quartz version, with its 7 mm thickness, which gives it incredible class and comfort.
This tribute watch is almost flawless, at less than 1% of the price of the original.
The stainless steel is virtually scratchproof, the sapphire crystal is superb, and the dial is just as good.
The strap is just fine, but a standard size is easily interchangeable.
American class.

Fineness: the price of quartz.

A simple and functional tribute watch.
Finishing off those eight-hour shifts at the factory, I can go make my polo shirt without risking scratching my watch.
Stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, Swiss quartz movement more precise than a Tolex watch, basic leather strap with automatic springs.
A useful watch for those who will never be able to afford the original.

For the toothless who have class.

High-quality tribute watch with an impressive case and a solid bezel, with a pleasant, well-centered sound.
The watch exudes a sense of density that could be misleading to the blind.
I measured it at less than 5 seconds of lag per day regardless of position.

Automatic watch with a power reserve indicated by a small hand at 10 o'clock, small seconds, and sapphire crystal. The case is made of stainless steel and the strap is leather with a pin buckle. It measures approximately 40 mm by 11 mm.
This is an elegant bias-wound watch with an interesting complication for less than €75.
Remarkable.

VK63 Quartz Chronograph Watch. Stainless steel case. Sapphire crystal and intricate case. Hollow lugs. It measures approximately 40 mm by 13 mm.
It's quite heavy, even with its silicone strap.
It's a bit of a throwback, but it's a solid value.
Elegance and sportiness for less than €60.

An imposing case: Pagani YS008

The HX11 is a stainless steel (sapphire crystal) watch featuring a retrograde minute and jumping hour display on a quartz movement, all for less than €180.
Its 44 mm diameter allows it to fit a wrist larger than 18 cm, and its thickness is reasonable at 13 mm.
It's not a favorite watch for me, but I really wanted to try out these complications, and I'm satisfied.
Note that the finish is fully polished. So, I brushed the upper part of the case to give it a more discreet appearance. See photos.
Very good value for money.

Pleasure for a few euros

Another success from Pagani Design that, for once, doesn't resemble an existing watch, or at least some other model.
The PD1791 is an automatic men's watch from Pagani Design. It is distinguished by its square 316L stainless steel case, with an outer diameter of 42 mm and an inner diameter of 38 mm. This design gives it a look that is both fashionable and business-ready.
Here are some notable features of the PD1791:
Case: 316L stainless steel, square shape with an inner circle.
Crystal: Sapphire, offering high scratch resistance and anti-reflective treatment.
Movement: Automatic BY-9020, with a power reserve of approximately 40 hours.
Water resistance: Up to 5 bar (50 meters), making it resistant to splashes and brief immersion.

Pagani Design PD1791: Square Elegance at the Service of Time

Yet another Pagani Design watch that isn't a tribute. A very beautiful watch in a rather classic style. I highly recommend replacing the strap, which isn't very comfortable.

The Pagani Design PD-1790 is a 42mm men's watch with a simple yet elegant design. It features the following features:
Design and Aesthetics:
Case: Stainless steel, 42mm in diameter and 12mm thick, offering a noticeable presence on the wrist without being overly imposing. The case features a brushed finish with a polished chamfer on the top of the lugs.
Dial: Available in several colors (black, blue, green, etc.) with applied silver-tone indexes (which can sometimes have a golden hue depending on the light). It features a minute scale on the flange and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. A notable feature is the presence of two seconds hands, one central and a smaller one in the subdial. Glass: Synthetic sapphire, offering excellent scratch resistance. It often features an anti-reflective coating for improved readability.
Strap: Lightweight and comfortable leather, with a push-button folding clasp for added security and ease of use. The lug width is 22 mm, making strap changes easy.
Crown: Located at 4 o'clock, it is a push-pull crown with knurled edges for a secure grip.
Case back: Transparent, allowing you to admire the watch's mechanical movement. The rotor is often signed and dark gray in color.
Movement:
Type: Automatic, meaning it is wound by wrist movements. It is recommended to wear it at least 8 hours a day or to wind it manually (approximately 20 turns of the crown upon first use).
Caliber: BY9020. It offers a power reserve of approximately 36 hours. Features:
Hours, minutes, small seconds.
Water resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM), making it suitable for everyday activities such as hand washing, rain, or splashes. However, it is not designed for swimming, diving, or contact with water vapor.
Non-luminescent (no Super-LumiNova on the indexes and hands).
Other features:
Lightweight (approximately 73.7 grams).
Comes in a Pagani Design box with an instruction manual, warranty card, and cleaning cloth.
Good value for money, offering careful finishing for its price.
Unique design with the double seconds hand, making it a conversation piece.
In summary, the Pagani Design PD-1790 is an elegant and well-finished automatic watch for its price. It stands out for its sleek design, sapphire crystal, adequate water resistance, and visible BY9020 caliber automatic movement. The lack of luminescence may be a drawback for some.



The art of accessible watchmaking

Inspiration, homage, copy, I won't get into this quarrel... but here is what pushed me to take the plunge on this model: to add or not a skeleton model to my collection, and this crucial question of course came during confinement. So what could be more natural than to test the skeleton "style" for a small price. My choice therefore fell on this model with a 43mm case for 13mm thickness, sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel. Transparent back and skeletonized oscillating weight as well. It kept all its promises for a budget in only two figures. The power reserve given for 3 days is around 60 hours and I tested the 10 ATM announced in the swimming pool, the screwed crown did the job well. It is robust and the oyster bracelet as well as the clasp are of quality. I enjoy wearing it on occasion and I find that it has its place in the variety of models in my collection. Finally to finish this allowed me to answer the initial question on skeleton or not skeleton, and well there won't be any others I think (of skeleton, because I then acquired a second Pagani... you can't change your ways!=

Artisans of Guangdong

GMT watch with a design strongly inspired by the Tudor Black Bay GMT, but a few details differentiate it, in particular the dimensions. 
The case is 39 mm wide with a 40 mm 24-hour bezel that protrudes slightly from the case, the case is brushed with a polished chamfer. Very good manufacturing quality, all alignments are perfect, no play at the bezel level, impressive quality of luminosity in the dark. Chinese Pearl GMT movement, with a drift of about ten seconds per day when the watch is worn. 
I really like this watch that I have been wearing often for 3 years, for me the points of difference with the Tudor are advantages.
