An iconic and accessible watch

Between the essential Moonwatch and the popular Reduced, the Trie Date ref. 178.0084, also known as the Mach 40, has character and an incredible presence. With its 39mm dial, magical blue background, and intriguing complications, this watch captivated me. Light on the wrist, discreet yet imposing, it ticks all the boxes: vintage, iconic, and perfect for everyday wear. Produced in the late 1990s and early 2000s, it can be found on the pre-owned market and remains accessible to almost any budget.
