Hello everyone, I'd like to talk to you about one of my favorite watches, my 2001 Omega Seamaster Diver 300m quartz.

It's a magnificent watch from the Omega manufacture, with a diameter of 41mm and a thickness of approximately 11mm. It's very slim and comfortable to wear every day despite its weight of 152g on its steel bracelet. It houses the Omega caliber 1538 quartz movement with six jewels and a 42-month power reserve.

It's an extremely versatile watch that can go with any outfit and for any situation. The model I own is still water-resistant to 300m, which is a joy for traveling and diving.

For film buffs, you've probably seen it on Pierce Brosnan's wrist in the James Bond film GoldenEye, released in 1997.

I recommend this watch to all Omega fans, film buffs, and young adventurers. And to anyone who doesn't mind quartz movements.

Watch offered by my wife for the birth of our son in 2008. I had hesitated for a long time with the blue version and since my father-in-law had it, I did not particularly want to have the same as him, but I was especially afraid of getting tired of it, regretfully because it is still not the same as the one worn by James Bond.

It is really magnificent, I find that it is very versatile both to leave in sport mode and well dressed for an event, a very comfortable, reliable and functional chic sport model.
I wear it quite often because it is a perfect diver, quite thin because quartz version, top lume, superb wavy dial, domed sapphire and approved by 007.

James Bond's watch in black

I feel a certain peace of mind in owning my Omega Seamaster Diver 300M. It is a faithful ally in everyday adventures and life's unexpected events, during which it never lets me down! (And vice versa!)
Its robustness is no longer in doubt. Although it takes care of my diver, it sometimes happens to face here and there corners of furniture, rocks, my wife's rings and roughness of everyday life, which it continues to overcome with valour. The quality of the sapphire crystal makes it almost scratchproof, while its deep and captivating black dial (to the depths of the abyss?) contrasts with the clear and luminous character of the indexes. Visibility is excellent. When I think about it a little, I almost see an explosion of fireworks in the dark night, or the light of an anglerfish of the abyss! I like its deep character, without the waves of the very latest versions that I find less successful. After all, don't they say "Less is more"?
The date window at 3 o'clock (in black) fits very well into the dial without distorting its harmony. The skeleton sword hands are particularly easy to read and pleasant to look at, while the vermeil tip of the second hand recalls the "Seamaster" applique on the dial: the primary contrast "black / white / red" is all the simpler and more striking. We find circles, triangles (end of the minute hand) and rectangles in an ode to geometry.
The shape of the wave bezel reminds me of a ship's helm, it is both precise and handy, perfect for measuring a time interval to the nearest minute. The robustness of the case and the complementarity of the bezel / date functions make this Seamaster Diver 300M a particularly practical watch for everyday use. Its 41 mm diameter (47 mm lug to lug) could make it seem sturdy, but it is not. In reality, it fits very well on an average wrist, the work on the curvature of the lugs and the birth of the bracelet make it much less thick than it seems. Its thickness of 13 mm allows it to slip easily under a shirt sleeve or a sweater.
It fits very well with its original steel deployant bracelet that I would describe as very well made and of rare comfort. Its diving extension allows it to be put on or taken off quickly and easily, and this is far from being anecdotal for those who have wide hands. Its passage on a NATO bracelet immediately gives it a very good maritime and summery side, and it obviously takes without problem a swim in the Pacific, a dive in the Mediterranean or simple lengths in a swimming pool.
Its stylistic adaptability allows it to evolve in different casual, smart-casual and business-casual clothing styles... Even business formal for the most daring of those who would like to break the codes like 007! (Although I personally wouldn't risk it, out of respect for the codes of masculine elegance. Not everyone can be James Bond...) 
Unless you wear a full suit all week, it's an incredible "daily". If I hesitate between several watches before starting my day, it's definitely the one that will be the lucky one of the day.
Its daily deviation is measured at +1 sec/day to +2 sec/day, for a monthly deviation of less than a minute. A largely tolerable drift, the time adjustment can thus be carried out every two months (or even 3 months after July/August/September) with the date reset to 1. The Seamaster Diver 300M is striking in my eyes, in an explosion of simplicity (and not simplism) and emotion. It is a fantastic watch to wear every day.

An Omega Seamaster 300M as a daily?
That’s a big yes! Both elegant and technical, this watch adapts to all events and environments (evenings, office, etc.). And it’s not for nothing that it has acquired its status as an iconic watch.

I love it, whether for its excellent quality rotating bezel or the power of its Super-LumiNova. Not to mention its METAS-certified Co-Axial movement, as beautiful as it is precise.

Omega Seamaster daily ?

Having reached the end of my romance with my BB58, I was looking for a diver that would eventually replace it! My target: a diver with a blue dial to diversify my collection, classy, with greater water resistance and a superior finish! Although not a fan of James Bond at the base, I opted for this reference, which is quite difficult to access new, for its spirit of synthesis of all the Seamasters, especially those that appeared in the various spy films! A recent Seamaster but which takes up the codes of the past, with an aluminum dial and bezel, a wave pattern dial like Pierce Brosnan's first, a Lollipop hand, the triangle of the diving bezel replaced by a 60 very consistent with the reference and its usefulness to quantify the 60 minutes making up an hour! In addition, I like sober watches, but I like it just as much when this sobriety hides an exclusivity, a particular brand or a secret animation... and there bingo! Its dial side is sober, classy, in a sumptuous blue! On the back, we can see the co-axial caliber with a particularity or even a fantasy: a sapphire crystal animated by the entrance scene of James Bond, where he appears in the gun barrel! the kind of little signature that I love and that you have to turn over to see! The animation is activated by the lollipop hand inspired by the film spectre! In short, beyond these elements the main reason for this quest is above all its deep blue color that I was looking for but also and above all the ability of this watch to be as dressy as it is sporty! It's been a while since I wanted to introduce you to this new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Edition 007 "No Time To Die" I bought it with the titanium mesh bracelet but I must admit that on this one I prefer it with a tone-on-tone NATO strap... which makes it even lighter. And yes, the lightness is one of the things that seduced me the most beyond its pastel colors which frankly differentiate it from the other Seamaster Diver 300M...

This is my second Omega Seamaster from a James Bond after the more discreet Seamaster 300 "Spectre". I have acquired a taste for the brand and the Seamaster and I must note a fantastic precision of the two models, even more this one with the METAS or Master-Chronometer certification (not knowing if it means the same thing). The engravings on the back are really nice and the little arrow on the dial - symbol of the British armies - reinforce its unique, different and exceptional side - at least for me.

I bought it new for once just under 10,000 euros and it now costs 11,000, a nice increase... I hesitated at the time because I found it a bit expensive and I wasn't sure I would buy it at 11,000 🧐

In any case, it's a watch that I wear with great pleasure whatever the conditions and my activity... A versatile watch - certainly not more discreet! - with a bit of projection on the wrist of Daniel Craig and No Time To Die, without a doubt, the best James Bond of recent years...
