I was looking for a divisive and unusual chronograph, and after much research, I came across the Omega Chronostop, a real favorite. I took the time to find one with almost all the original parts (it's hard to get the strap and the plexiglass) and without a date; I'm usually part of the "no date" team. The watch dates from 1968 and is equipped with the caliber 865 (920 without a date), which has a cam-driven chronograph with only the seconds hand, which still works perfectly today and which I'll let you admire for yourself (photo at best, sorry). It's 35mm, and you have to like small diameters because it's quite round, almost lugless, and sits a bit like a saucer on the wrist, here on my large 19cm wrist. I like its overall shape, the integration of the pusher/crown combo, which maintains a certain symmetry, and the impression of relief given by the dial and indexes. Then comes the sporty side with the orange chronograph logo and seconds hand, the railway track, and the racing/rally strap (here from the Romane workshop) which gently beefs up the watch. On the downside, I always like to look for one: small diameter, and like many vintage chronographs, it requires careful care.
