The must-have Macro Loupe for all watch lovers

I've long been drawn to the purity of Nomos watches: clean lines, a simple case, and a non-ostentatious style. Then I came across the Club Campus collection, with its dials, each more colorful than the last. And "unfortunately," one day, I stumbled upon a great opportunity...

The reference 715: 36 mm case, 8.2 mm thick, 100 m water resistance, and above all, an electric green dial that doesn't go unnoticed. This is the watch that, on its own, adds a touch of whimsy to a simple outfit, while retaining the refined Nomos DNA.

The movement is very precise, the comfort is excellent thanks to its beautiful light gray suede strap, and its thinness allows it to slip easily under any shirt.

A sparkling Nomos

If I had to keep only one watch in my collection, it would be this one. With its slightly cream dial and small diameter, it complements any style and adapts to any situation: going out on the town, work, hiking, the beach... You simply need to change the strap to adapt its use.

I discovered it at the opening night at the Serica boutique, and I was immediately charmed by its versatile yet unique look. The three dial colors are all magnificent, but I ultimately fell for the white one, which reminds me of the Explorer II.

Its Bonklip strap is very comfortable, but I regret that it sometimes opens on its own. As a result, it mostly stays on a khaki Tropic, which gives it even more of an adventurer look.

The perfect daily

Very happy to present this magnificent watch that has the face of no other. I was looking for a versatile watch without copying another, it's all found with this Serica. 

Apart from its aesthetics, the strong point of this watch are its specs, COSC, antimagnetic, 300m, all in reasonable proportions even for my chicken wrist. 

It is a watch that I wear as well in a suit, casual outfit, at the pool or in the forest to pick mushrooms. 

The only slightly disappointing point is its brightness which fades quickly, but being rarely at a depth of 30m, it is not a problem on a daily basis. 
Also, the bracelet is quite complex to put on the first few days, but is very comfortable to wear. 

Serica offers the option of the crown on the left, a little extra touch of originality in addition to bringing a lot of comfort to this watch. 

This watch is, in my opinion, a great success and I can only recommend it to you.



Sexy and technical

The brand Nomos Glash&uuml;tte was founded in 1990 by Roland Schwertner in Glash&uuml;tte, Germany. Photographer and computer enthusiast, the founder created this brand between modernity and tradition two months after the fall of the Berlin Wall. His vision was to design timepieces that combine traditional mechanical watchmaking with modern design inspired by Bauhaus watches from the 1930s.

The Nomos Tangente 41 Update also won the Challenge category at the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix (GPHG) in 2018.

Want to attract attention? It's easy with the California dial of my Club Campus. Its 38.5 millimeter diameter is generously proportioned and will fit any wrist. This timepiece always looks stunning — with a suit, while traveling around the world or dancing the night away. And only diamonds are harder than its sapphire crystal. I can only recommend getting the optional transparent caseback as the Nomos manufacture movements offer a truly beautiful finish that our Swiss friends are unable to produce at this price ;-)

Nomos Club Campus 737

A little gem that I managed to find, a special edition for the Asian market to celebrate the U as a bond. This vital letter in the name of this special model means "Unity", but it also phonetically evokes the English "You". And just as we all have multiple facets, sometimes even opposite, the dial of this watch dares the contrast of colors that is accentuated by a light touch of rose gold. Its 38.5 mm diameter case houses the hand-wound Alpha caliber. This contrast of the black dial with this Californian numeral half Arabic half Roman in ivory color circled by a rose gold line that echoes the hands.

Club Camus U Special Edition

After a long search for my first and only mechanical watch, I chose the Club Campus 737 from Nomos. Its rounded contours, generous dial and little touch of color make it a perfect choice for me. This watch is not flashy, but as soon as you look at the finishes, you can't help but notice the attention to detail and the quality of the finishes (especially in terms of the caliber that you can see through a transparent case back). The slightly long lugs put some people off, but personally I don't see any problem with that, the watch fits properly on my wrist. The strap provided with the watch is very pretty. I am fully satisfied.

German efficiency and quality

As a fan of Nomos, I was looking for a mechanical watch with a small diameter and a touch of originality. So I set my sights on this Club Campus. A very deep pink California dial and a very nice fluorescent orange "small seconds" complication. Enough to cheer you up :-) The finishes are of remarkable quality. If I had to make a small criticism, it would be its screwed back which does not allow you to see the movement. The option was available on other dial colors but not on this version. The lugs are a little long but nothing surprising for Nomos. Its light gray strap suits it perfectly and provides a contrast with the flashy dial. A model that I particularly like and which is aimed at a wide audience.
