I was looking for a true tool watch, with presence, a functional look, almost the spirit of a Swiss Army knife. The M52-AU delivers on all of that.

In photos, it doesn't say much. Nothing is truly conveyed, as if its details demanded direct contact. On the wrist, it's the opposite: the case imposes its presence, exactly what I felt with a friend's C1000.

The lug-to-lug design falls impeccably flat, with a soft, titanium-like gray brushed finish that blends perfectly with the matte black bezel. Everything remains lightweight thanks to the gray NATO strap, which balances the case's presence with an airy feel.

It's a stealth watch: no shiny polished steel, but a discreet and solid finish. Even the caseback, invisible under the strap, is screwed down with the same seriousness. The deep black dial features plot markers, and the red date at 6 o'clock is a real eye-catcher. Perhaps the logo would have benefited from being applied or engraved, but that's a minor detail.

A pure and simple tool, designed for use, that impresses as soon as you put it on your wrist.

In Stealth mode

I was lucky enough to see a two-tone watch so 80 on his wrist for a long time.
The problem with big brands is to see how much they tense up when it comes to innovating, so convinced that the public will not follow this time. So we change the color of the dial blah blah blah...

It was again on JC's advice that the idea came to me to register on a Kick starter made by a watch creator that is Watch angel.
The collaboration with Cedric Bellon was unexpected.
The theme of a watch with a very pure design with recycled materials and tools speaks to me. In addition, sourcing Soprod movements with GMT complication lit the fuse.
Finally, this sandwich dial is magnificent.

How: thanks to a certain Mrs. Vallée from the Dubail boutique Place Vendome who found my email and my fairly specific request.

Emotion: a sublime watch but once again not assumed. the dial too thing, the bracelet not the size. but that was without counting on the top after-sales service of GP: "sir, we have never found the perfect fit for each of our customers". and after sending the 2 additional links. the combination was perfect and the bracelet adjusted.
