I bought it impulsively, after watching a video about watches under 500 euros. I liked its style, its hour markers, and its double-domed crystal. When it arrived, I realized it looked very much like the watch I used to borrow from my father when I was a child. It had a white tropical strap. A true diver's watch.

It came with a silicone strap, which I changed to a black tropical strap, a more urban version.

I absolutely don't regret this purchase.

An older, rather niche brand. I acquired it because I like GMT watches.
This one is unique in that it has three time zones. In addition to the long, thin, white hand for the second hour, the bezel is also adjustable to indicate another time zone. A screw-in mechanism secures this third time zone.
The Milanese bracelet is supple, and the watch isn't too bulky. In short, I like it, and I haven't seen many people wearing one.

here is my Airman 36 GMT. and I might as well say it right away now that I have it I don't understand why it took me so long to decide to buy it. It has so many criteria that I like in a watch such as:
- the professional side
- readability
- the thinness of the case.
- the date
- the monster strap side.
- the gmt that I missed so much.

GLYCINE AIRMAN 36 GMT

Glycine launched its first GMT watch in 1953, one year before Rolex and its GMT. The first watch to feature a 24-hour rotating bezel—that sets the scene!

For the first three years, the dials were off-white or champagne, then black. Mine is from 1956 and is the first model to feature a mechanical stop-seconds function with a thread (as thin as a hair) that literally pops out of the dial when you pull the crown out at 3 o'clock. This filament acts as a stop, halting the seconds hand at 24 hours. At the time, this was the only way to synchronize these watches, which saw action in the Vietnam and Indochina Wars. The watch is a 24-hour timepiece; the hour hand rotates only once every 24 hours—that alone sets it apart. Radium hands...

Oh, and I almost forgot, the second crown is used to lock the bezel in place once you've aligned it with the hour hand to indicate your second time zone. 36mm of pure joy, it wears beautifully. The lugs are long relative to the diameter, giving it a more substantial presence on the wrist. It has a real adventurer's look, but you have to get used to reading the 24 on the dial, even though that's actually the most obvious part!
