I fell in love with this Omega from the 1970s, 1969 to be precise.
Its Hesalite crystal, its tonneau case, and its sunray dial are its charms. It's a very understated model, but it reveals itself, so you stop and look at it. The play of colors from those years is incredible.

Beauty of the 70s

Lover of chronos and seventies watches, I have been on the lookout for beautiful ones that meet these two criteria for years. Omega of course, having reached the top of the initial list, I am learning about chronos from that era. What Heuer? Carreras and Autavias, ouch I am touched, for two years I have been looking for this beautiful Carrera with a moving story: A father gives it to his young son, an airplane pilot, as on-board tools. He tells how he used it and concludes that he has no descendants to whom he can pass it on, so he is parting with it... welcome home, you will no longer fly but will still take the plane!

A discreet grail

I am a fan of the speedmaster. It is perfectly sober and sporty. But I was missing some madness and this time I am served! It is truly incredible by its design, its dial and its complications. It does not go with everything but it does not matter in the end, I love it infinitely. It had a little refresh because it had suffered a lot of damage. Today without being perfect it is a pleasure to wear regularly

It all starts with a crush. A watch with an atypical shape and a completely assumed style of the 70s. I was under its spell. I coveted it for a long time but never saw it in real life, so I didn't take the plunge. In the photo it looks massive, imposing, it doesn't matter, I take the plunge, I bid, it arrives, it has lived, but .... incredible, it is sublime, perfect proportion, perfect size, it is discreet I love it. It is about 50 years old and this year it is my favorite, it is my release of the year :)

I chose this watch to celebrate a notable family event. I wanted a sober, versatile and timeless watch. I am won over, 2 years later it follows me everywhere, surfing, in the mountains, cycling, or in the evening, it delights me with its versatility. Citizen Bullhead "Challenge Timer" from November 1972. This is a model that I absolutely wanted to have in my collection for its endearing look, its technical characteristics as well as for its reputation that continues to grow.
So I went in search of my wild beast... After much research and in the middle of a jungle of tinkered parts or with horribly repainted dials I was finally able to find this model in excellent condition and totally original with a beautiful patina. It was mounted on its original steel bracelet but I then found a Nato that fits it perfectly!
Concerning the operation, the push buttons are very smooth with this caliber 8110A equipped with a column wheel. In addition to the automatic winding, day and date functions, it has a chronograph with the "Fly back" function. It should be noted that apart from the chronograph, the Bullhead does not have a second hand. Its only small flaw is its crown nestled between the 2 pushers which is very small and which is wound with the fingernails...
I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of manufacture and finish as well as its formidable precision even after more than 50 years of service.
In conclusion, if you like chronos and are looking for a watch that has style, you will fall like me under the spell of this little bull full of vigor and character!

The Little Wild Bull

A very successful comeback, both in terms of its size and finish; this watch sits perfectly on my wrist. While it is powered by a quartz movement, this results in a slimmer profile, making it very comfortable to wear. I saw this watch, I tried it on, I fell in love with it—I was completely captivated.

Nice reissue of the Citizen bullhead

My first vintage! 50 years old, of course it's lived but in its belly not a wrinkle! It holds the bar very high compared to today's watches! Yes, yes, you read correctly. Its movement is mechanical and beats at 4hz. It has the chronograph, the day, the date and it is also Flyback. Its design is really atypical and it is emblematic. I managed to find one that belonged to a collector. It was revised and it is in excellent condition. I love its atypical line which is unlike any other watch.

I present to you my Citizen Bullhead chrono that I ordered on a Japanese site I really like this watch with the crown and the two push buttons located at the top of the dial, it is quartz vast subject the blue color of the dial varies according to the intensity of the luminosity which is of the most beautiful effect, the Japanese manufacturer has again released a pretty watch very endearing my son has just returned it to me he loves it, it has a diameter of 38mm and an ATM 5, the bracelet stamped Citizen is at the level of the fixation and the adjustment like a Milanese mesh system.
