The must-have Macro Loupe for all watch lovers

This is the only quartz watch in my collection, why because I am not a fan of quartz watches with needles because of their jerking with each passing of seconds, but I must admit that I really like the digital display of this vintage Casio and it has a strong symbolism for me because I bought it at the same time as one of my best friends who went for the steel version with a purple dial, but let's get back to the facts, this watch has a double face, indeed on the one hand it is a very comfortable watch and which can be forgotten on the wrist due to its weight and its dimensions, but on the other hand it is a watch which is very fun due to its digital display and its golden color, I really like to wear it in summer with a t-shirt or in the evening with friends, it can also be used for DIY or moving, some will cringe, but for me it ticks the box of the G-Shock and yes, a simple Casio, but I can guarantee you that after 6 years it has seen adventures and it still has its original battery and that it still works wonderfully


The simplest and most affordable Casio

This is a watch that I acquired in December 2022, I wanted it for a long time and once it was on my wrist I never left it, its proportions are perfect whether in diameter or thickness, everything is contained, the finishes like the brushed case are fine as well as the brake field which runs through the curves of the case comes to sublimate it. It is remarkably comfortable for everyday use and the readability of this diver's watch with its beautiful applied white indexes only reinforces this pleasant comfort, I can only recommend it for someone looking for an everyday watch that ticks the box for divers. And this matte blue dial remains sober and discreet combined with a very simple but very well finished aluminum bezel. As for the bracelet, I am part of the team that likes these fake rivets on the sides and as for the clasp, I will surprise more than one, I find it more successful than the new one which has the T-fit system because I find it more contained and discreet, I find that they fit well in the extension of the bracelet.

You leave home and realize that none of your watches are wound and they're not on time.
You're in a hurry.
This Casio is ideal because as long as it has a battery, it will keep time.
Plus, I find it very elegant for a digital watch.
It will go with any of your outfits, whether you're dressed more formally or sportier, it will look great.
A very low price for a versatile watch.

A fast watch from Casio

Just as some people would like to capture all the Pokémon, I would like to capture all these vintage-style Casios.
I see them as stylish treats with lots of different flavors, each one as delicious as the next.
The Casio A100WE looks like it came straight from the 80s with its design of a Renault 18 Turbo on-board computer or a BMW 528i E28 Check Control. It gives me the impression of being in the Mitterrand era and a lot of nostalgia for the R21 txi and R25 V6 turbo.
In conclusion, I love it!

This is the W-59-1VQ model. This little watch goes everywhere and is very useful to me, in my precise timing during my daily work (simple, efficient, and reliable are its qualities). It is discreet, light and above all its price is very funky!!
It also reminds me of my early childhood discovering the passage of time...

A vintage Casio 593 W-79 that I have had for almost 30 years and that was given to me by my dad when I was a child.
My very first watch that I have always kept and that works like the first day.
I change the battery myself and the watch starts again for several years.

A gadget watch that has become an icon for 80s lovers with its retro-futuristic look and a keyboard that makes you feel like you can turn on the old VCR you've got stored in your basement in case video cassettes come back into fashion.
With this Casio calculator, my wrist is ready and no longer has to worry about any potential surprise exams.
Like all resin Casios, it feels indestructible, and in addition to having a calculator function, I can time or countdown, and if I need to wake up, it even has an alarm function. The smartwatch before the smartwatch.

A geek watch par excellence

Today, I'm going to tell you about a small Casio, certainly not the best known but which deserves your attention. It is the Casio AQ -S800WD-1EF
It is a watch with a resin case painted "steel" an acrylic glass, unfortunately, but with a steel bracelet. The dimensions 47.6 from lug to lug, 42 wide by 10.6 mm thick, with a weight of 89gr all included!
The characteristics now:

World time function
The world time function displays the time in 29 time zones and major cities around the world.

Stopwatch function - 1/100 sec - 1 h
The elapsed time, split times and total time are calculated with an accuracy of 1/100th of a second, over a maximum duration of one hour.

2 countdown timers - 5 sec - 100 minutes (with automatic repeat function)
This model has two independent countdown timers that emit a signal after the programmed time has elapsed before automatically resuming from the pre-programmed time. The watch's measuring capacity reaches up to 100 minutes and can be set in 5-second increments.

5 daily alarms
A daily alarm reminds you of your deadlines at the programmed time. This model has five independent alarms to flexibly remind you of your important appointments.

On/Off key beep
The key beep can be deactivated with the mode button. After deactivation, there is no longer a beep when switching from one function to another. However, programmed alarms or countdowns remain active after deactivating the key beep.

Automatic calendar
Once programmed, the automatic calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24 Hour Time Format
You can display the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.

Domed Watch Glass
The surface of the watch glass is domed, which provides great strength and high pressure resistance.

Any flaws? Yes, there are definitely some... 
The acrylic glass is resistant to breakage but which quickly got scratched... admittedly during a DIY session...

But there is one thing I will tell you to convince you to have this little tool watch is the price: 46 euros!!!!


the little lowcoast tool-watch that gives you a lot

You can get a geek chic look at a low cost, with the only constraint being to change the original strap for a tobacco-colored leather one. The Casio A171WEMB-1AEF offers us a sober dial, far from the exuberance of the brand when it seeks to seduce a young audience. Here we are in good taste, 36mm black dial, without overload of information, minimalist let's say it. Comfortable, this Casio, and which will not fail to indicate to the people you meet, that you like SF and the 80s, without sacrificing style and good manners.

Geek chic and cheap

In two words pretty little colorful casio and very glossi I did not expect it at all. A little candy like many vintage casio. On the other hand I do not think that it can be worn every day unlike a resin f91 because the chrome of the case is all the same light.
