Tissot PRX digital, 40 mm. I bought it about ten days ago and almost left a review immediately. That would have been a mistake, given the initial rush. The quartz movement/price ratio seemed unfair, especially since the functions are so basic! But then, as the days went by, the perceived quality, the comfort, and its certain elegance made me change my mind...or almost. Why PRX? Is the brand solid enough to create a different design and name? Given the success of the original model, I understand the continuation. This model is just as heavy as the automatic version. The readability is good. An important detail: the discount applied at the time of purchase. I wouldn't have bought it at full price. A good buy nonetheless.

What can I say...Given the "thickness" of the Citizen group, they can afford to release models like this.
Titanium case, solar quartz movement, calfskin strap for around 180 euros with the sales...The latter is heavier than the case!
Lightness, readability, reliability, water resistance...I got the all-blue model, which is as pretty as it is discreet.
In the morning, don't want to wind an automatic? It's always available; it's comfortable.
The only downside is the small size of the date/day window, which isn't very legible. No big deal.
Too perfect? No, just ideal for everyday reading.

Do as I do, wear a...

Codhor watch, from the 80s, bought less than 10 years ago in NOS condition on eBay...about 36 mm in diameter, hand-wound...never serviced, keeps time perfectly with a power reserve of about 40 hours!!!...You have to wonder if you should spend more?!...fortunately there is something else, than the utilitarian side, in the passion for watches...I rarely wear it but I am happy to own one in this condition, it reminds me of another era with this famous ad.

Swatch Obsidian Shimmer, 40 mm
Very flat metal case, metal pin buckle, very supple silicone strap. Very comfortable and very readable. Its dial could be mesmerizing. No lume for nighttime use, which is a shame. No second hand, extremely silent. Impulse purchase at a price (€215) that I find excessive for such a watch.

A silent but expensive Swatch...

A pleasant watch for summer. As light as a plastic Swatch! Its gray color is unique due to the transparent case back, which reveals the mechanism. It's easy to read with its blue indexes and red hands. The strap is very flexible, which is pleasant. I own a few Swatch watches, and this is by far the loudest... a real 80s alarm clock!!! Irreplaceable for keeping accurate time every day.

Light, readable, precise...but noisy!

It reminds me of watches from the 80s, the Camel Trophy, especially the bezel. Personally, I wouldn't wear it for canyoning, hiking, or any other dynamic activity; G-Shock does better. But for everyday use or for a discovery trip, it will do the job perfectly. It exudes quality. From the moment you wind it manually, you can feel the solidity of the mechanism. Perfect readability, 3 hands... the basics. The strap is good, the stitching ensures good strength, even during a stay in humid areas, you won't risk losing the case (experience...). The motor is excellent, with an 80-hour power reserve, which is comfortable. The only downside is the design of the pin buckle, which is square and doesn't really match. I was just saying something! During this sales period, it remains very interesting as an impulse purchase!!!

Baltic aquascaphe blue grit bronze first numbered series (279/300) in 39 mm. Original model which has already bathed and which has held up well. This bronze alloy oxidizes only by becoming matte. Reliable model which is very robust. Comfortable on a daily basis despite its weight. Only the after-sales service has never responded to my request to post a review on their site. Too busy certainly wanting to play in the big league internationally.

Original French bronze diver

The only thing that can be criticized about this watch is its movement. Otherwise the case is magnificent, the patina is superb, and the smoked brown dial with cream indexes is breathtakingly classy. What can I say? It is beautiful on its tropic, more naughty on a seaqual from Avel&Men, and dressed on its leather also from Avel&Men. All for a more than reasonable price

The perfect bronze

After a long wait, I received my new Baltic Aquascaphe Bronze and it is hard to leave my wrist 😁. The finishes are really great. The dial, the indexes and the typography which take up the color of the case, the sapphire insert of the bezel which adjoins the double dome and what to say about the work on the crown... Now, I let time do its work!

Baltic Aquascaphe Bronze marron

For my first bronze watch, I chose this very pretty Baltic Aquascaphe watch in bronze (CuAl8) which evolves over time and acquires a magnificent patina.

Magnificent blue sunray dial,
The case back is in 316L steel with an engraved diver.
It is water-resistant to a depth of 200 meters,
Anti-reflective double-domed sapphire crystal,
The movement is a Miyota 9039 Automatic with a 42-hour power reserve,
The case diameter is 39 mm for a thickness of 13 mm,
20mm Tropic rubber strap and bronze buckle,
The hands and indexes are coated with Super-Luminova C1.

Reliable and scalable.

Here, we are dealing with an oddity from Baltic. Both modern, but with this aftertaste of vintage, rustic but elegant, does not reinvent anything, but resolutely different and all its grace or because of the bronze. It does nothing more than what is asked of it and that is already quite enough. 
Robust and waterproof to 200 m, it will easily accompany you on all aquatic outings once equipped with its Tropic bracelet which smells wonderfully of vanilla. 
All you have to do is replace the bracelet with a pretty brown leather to change everything, leather on a diver? Sacrilege! You will tell me... Well no! The magic works and we end up with an almost dressy watch and the sapphire bezel as well as the crème brûlée colored indexes are not for nothing. 
Time and humidity will quickly take the golden shine off the immaculate bronze out of the box, but that's not a bad thing, nothing and no one escapes the ravages of time, not even a watch, bronze remains a poetic reminder of this maxim.

On this Baltic, it's almost flawless? Robust and versatile but also precise thanks to its Miyota 9000 series, the only downside if it was necessary to find one, a French movement would have been perfect and a Tropic bracelet a little less rigid from the factory (a problem that the new Tropic FMK of the hermetic tourer model solves, but can only be purchased separately)

From rustic to dressed

Hello I just bought this brand new blatic bronze brown color and I am delighted with it. Aesthetically in any case it is superb and the sapphire insert makes all the difference compared to the basic bronze models. For the movement it is given for 9 seconds per day so rather correct. For the patina we will see with time. But for the moment very happy with my purchase even if it has literally been 20 minutes since it came out of its box.
